fenders are pretty good, your best bet would be go to GC or a local store and try some in your price range, and see what you like.

i honestly dont like marshalls at all. thats me, you may be totally into them. i really like fenders and mesa's(mesa's a #### expensive though)

ive never played an orange, never heard bad things about them. they are all like 15 or 30 watts and expensive(i think)i have a crate solid state. never use it. it only gets used if my friend is over and were jammin'. its cuz i only have 2 amps. but ive never tried there tubes

i have a mesa. its just a pre, got it for 400(my grandpa payed for it), had to get a power amp and a cab, totally worth 1000 bucks

my friend whos a metal head has a 5150. it sounds pretty good. cleans arent beautiful but there not bad, an eq pedal for the cleans would make it sound alot better
