Not long now.

I had a custom jag-stang logo sent to me a while ago, It's not a replica but it's still pretty good. I didn't show it properly, but the logo scrunched up because I put the paint on too thick, so It's going to require another 5 or so coats of paint to blend it in. I hope Fender don't find out.

Klusons all the way!! I can get a set of Gotoh Klusons for Au$30 next week as well.

Yeah, I'll definately keep everyone updated with pics, as soon as i get the neck and klusons next week I'll post a pic.

The hard part for me will be sourcing down some Jaguar and Mustang parts for it, as noone around here sells them (except for Ric's Vintage Guitars, who charges $50 for a mustang control plate 😛 )

bearing in mind that the official klusons have smaller bushings than gotoh kluson copies.

which ones has cross drilled the holes for?

They're drilled for the ones that are on jag-stangs. The cheaper japanese ones, which work fine for me.

i didn't know they were cheaper? in any case, i think the japanese gotoh kluson copies are better than the official klusons, which are made elsewhere in south east asia (korea i think).

i also thought that the kluson copies on the jag-stang were ping copies? but maybe they are gotoh. do they say "JAPAN" on the back? not sure if the ping and gotoh copies have the same bushing size

Alritey, do you reckon they are worth it at that price? I just double checked the store that had them for $30, but their webpage is being redesigned :S

totally agreed. those white plastic buttons look great, and will fit correctly, being gotohs
