Thats nice! whats up with F-spaced Humbuckers I never got that? I mean i have them in my jag but why are they different form other Humbuckers? Also nice drink u got there!

i think the poles on the f-spaced (trembucker) are supposed to fit better with the distance between each string of fender guitars, but ive also heard that it doesnt matter at all and makes no difference,

On my JS i have a ''normal'' (not f-sapced) humbucker JB, the lutier who install it said it sound the same as a trembucker, but i never really knew if i got rip off or not . .

Ah very intresting, I was always trying to figure out whats up with F spaced but i dont see how it could make a difference either way my Jag sounds awesome so whatever ha

Okay this is what it is:

F-Spaced/Trembucker humbuckers are designed to go into the bridge position of guitars with a Floyd Rose or Fender tremolo/hardtail. It is ONLY bridge position though as Floyd rose guitars usually have different nut spacing.

Humbuckers (ie not trem or F) are designed to go into Gibsons. The two types are different in string spacing, the Gibson version having wider string spacing.

i have an ibanez with a floyd with 2 new f spaced dimarzio paf pro's in it and they both line up fine. from what my music store told me, they will still work if they aren't lined up but there is a significant loss in definition and tone if you're going to use high gain amps/distortion pedals.

Its not a huge difference but notes might not seem to sustain as well etc.

Nope. I still have to get these parts:

- Mustang Control Plate

- Mustang sliding switches

- 2x 500k concentric pots

- Caps

Though this week I recieve some parts that include a Jazzmaster bridge and also heaps of input jacks and 500k pots, so I will wire the JS up temporarily when these parts arrive.

Good to see youre getting all the parts together slowly. So youre gonna use 2 x 500k pots? I cant decide what im doing with my custom, i was thinking 500k volume and 1meg tone, if that dosent seem to work well i will go for 2 x 500k.Reason im leaning towards the 1meg tone pot is thats what Fender reccomend to use with the FVN's im using in neck and mid, i have no idea if it will adversly affect the humbucker though....

not on the JS, because not even the stock pickup's poles line up correctly on that guitar due to the angle.

but i don't think it matters in general though, you may notice a slightly weaker output on the E strings. it certainly doesn't sound funny or wrong in any way.
