You both missed my point. Completely. I'm talking about guitars that have been changed so much that they aren't really the same guitar anymore. Like the guitar this thread's about.
Mod's like changing pickups or bridges is almost expected as we all have different tastes. But when you go so far that the money you've spent making a Fender more like a Gibson could have just been spent buying a guitar that more suites you, and sparing the guitar that you would have butchered.

What do you think will happen when you try and sell that guitar?
Who's gonna want to buy a guitar that has been routed, then filled with some different wood to hide what was done?? Because as we all see, these f*cked up guitars do get sold eventually.
