i have the same combo in my JS and it sounds amazing.
I think the whole thing is looking good. you wire things up a hell of alot cleaner than I do. thats for sure. good job.
the headstock though you gotta darken that thing up. its so white it looks like balsa wood. get your ass some amber stain and a can of clear coat and get to work on that before i poop on it and smear it in to brown it up.
I prolly will go with a SJAG-1 when I gets the cash, I definately hate the neck wood color, but the neck itself feels suprisingly good, I had to adjust the truss rod to relieve some of the tension and to stop some "low E buzz" (all strings buzz actually), so now its good to go, just want to do something with the wood.
I like the way it looks with the white perloid pickguard, but I like to be different, so I need to order a pickguard for it, I noticed the pickguard is basically a mustang one but its cut to fit the strat bridge(narrow) and has the curve of the strat on one side, But I bet I could trace a mustangs and just get them to make me a mustang shaped one with the bridge cut out to fit a strat, and then I can add switches like a mustang, and have more coil tapping possiblities?
