JAGSTANG TOOK A TUMBLE....HELP!

OH NO! So some plate glass took a tumble and messed up my JS....can you help me on how to post some pics so i get get help on fixing the problem

unless you refin that body, you're stuck with it lookin' that way.

as for the headstock, it's really hard to tell what happened there, but it looks like 3 scratches, side by side. Hang out for a week or two, and I'll post something that might help...but, don't expect any miracles...

yeah i figured that on the body...the headstock...the clearcoat is kinda smashed/cracked....not good...i kept this thing mint for 12 years no this...ahhhhh i'm sick

That sucks dude. It seems like the japanese fenders with basswood bodies dent and chip very easily. I've taken very good care of the mustang that I bought from Blane, so it doesn't have anything wrong with it excpet for the minor scratches or dings that were there when I bought it from him. But the old sonic blue mustang that I had had so many dents and dings on it, I put a dent in it with my thumbnail one time just to test it. And one time during band practice, it was on a stand, and my guitar player was playing his tele, and he stepped on the cord and it came out of the input jack and hit the mustang, left a huge gash on the front of it. Those guitars damage so easily.

thats the first major gash ive had in the guitar...some little paint blemishes here and there but nothing that bad...its nothing terrible...it still plays fine, so im not too worried

don't sweat it. i've got a ding i took in my jag-stang when it was only about a year or two old. i just picked up the pieces, and elmer's clued them back in. you can totally see it, but at least the wood is still covered.

btw, your string winds are intense or GNARLY. 😎

i do agree, i brought my guitar into a Sam Ash for a set-up and got it back like that...i questioned, and the guy said thats how he does it....blah
