That's the thing though - a Jaguar HH ISN'T a standard Jaguar. That's the allure of it. TOM bridge and stoptail, humbuckers, etc.
With these new MIM's, they're portrayed as the real deal, when really they're not. Hell, MIJ's are closer to vintage specs, and we all know they aren't spot on either.
To be honest, I'm pretty disappointed with the way Fender has handled this. They throw a tanty over people importing the MIJ models, and then when they stop that, they release these overpriced, idiot-proof Jaguars and Jazzmasters. 🙄
Why not just start selling the MIJ's outside of Japan? From what it seems like, most people are really happy with MIJ Jags and Jazzmasters. It's looking like Fender is just trying to force people into buying these new MIM's for the $800 or $900 they're charging. 🤮
