Maybe if I had money, or I played bass.

Mainly because i'll drool over any fender with a matching headstock.

The black looks awfull.

Those do look awesome, but not $700 awesome. If it had binding on the neck, I might think about it. But for that price, I'd rather save up a little bit more money and just buy a American Jazz bass.

Yeah, if you glue the low horn it'll be a pimped up jazz bass. But I really have no idea of how cool it sounds.

Yea, me too. I really liked it when I first saw it, and now I'm not really that impressed by it. I would like to hear how it sounds though.

I want to hear how one sounds, I kind of like it, but it seems like nothing more than a glorified Jazz Bass. Here's what I think they SHOULD make

Jazzmaster Bass

Standard Scale Length

Jazzmaster pickups ina Bass version (EG 4 or 8 poles instead of 6, kind of like an answer to those Gibson EB-0 humbucker style pickups)

Rhythm Circuit does the normal Rhythm Circuit thing (50K pot and 1M POT LIN)

4 Saddle Mustang Bass style bridge

Jaguar Bass

Short Scale neck Ala Mustang Bass

Custom Jaguar styled Bass Pickups (a bit more twangy ala Bass VI but fatter)

Normal switching

4 Saddle Mustang Bass style bridge

Either that or I'd just rather get a Bass VI and be done with it, they work fine as a bass from what seen and heard.

No kidding, plus they have a whammy bar, plus, since I use chords a lot in the bass line, it's easier to do on one of those than on a standard 4 string electric bass (due to the string spacing).
