tape around the posts of the bridge which protrude into the body. normaly they have quite a bit of wiggle room, which is what gives properly set up mustang/jag/jazzmaster/jag-stangs their tuning stability with slightvibrato, etc. taping this gives less room to move and supposedly makes them more foolproof. Fran doesnt like this i gathered from his youtube vid about setting up the jag bridges. (FrancoAC or whatever is you, right fran?)
Also, do the washers go under the tailpiece or between the tailpiece and bridge? you contradicted yourself on that, tool. Also what do you mean by bolting down the tailpiece?
