that looks pretty nice, thadd. i had my doubts when i saw how thick you were making templates, and that your first one was slightly rough round the edges. but that one looks nice and clean. perhaps a bit off near the lower horn and control plate. but well done

What's the best method of cutting out switch holes, do you think?

For Mumblyjoe's I just drilled a series of small holes and then filed it out, but It's not my preffered way of doing it.

Rick: Since it was a practice pg, I thought it would be kinda cool to give it that vintage-shrunk look. Didn't really come out as well as I'd hoped. And, yea...it's a bit rough, since I did the bevel by hand...

CROSS: I used a 7/32 drill bit for the switch holes (which is the exact width of the switch) and then just used a jigsaw to cut out the rest, with minor filing. Takes about 2 minutes per hole.

lamp and arsecake: thanks, fellas! Yea, I saw your pm, lamp...I'll order the red tort this week and get it out to you.

cowbell: thanks to Mez, I now have two pg's for the 64/65 mustang and will make a template this week.
