sure gibson guitars look great, but they all sound the same, with the exeption of the p-90 guitars, and they make some single coil models. i mean, what contributions has gibson made to the guitar world? semihollows? i dont know if they invented humbuckers or not, and p-90's... fender reveloutionized guitar desine with the strat trem, which was a huge departure from bigsbys, and then the floating trem. they also made advancements in wiring with the jazzmaster and jaguar. meanwhile, gibson was making the same guitar over and over again in different shapes.
