Custom Made Guitar.

Basically someone has offered to make me a custom guitar, any kind I want, as long as I give them the body shape I want, Bridge, etc.

So I was contemplating getting either a Mustang-type or a Jaguar-type with a matching headstock. Soooo....

Any suggstions as to which guitar I should get and in what color? O.o

i personally would get a jag.

Why? i like the body shape better, fender mustangs are cheaper, therefore not as hard to get, i already have a mustang.

jaguar with a mustang style tailpiece/bridge and a ####load of extra switches. get a different pickup routing too. like sss or ssh hsh hhh whatever. and a compound radius with the warmoth adjustable bridge. lucky son of a bitch. its FREE?

all I have to do is pay for the parts. I guess pickups, the bridge etc. maybe the neck too unless he can make that. I have to get all the details.

But I think I'm going to get a red jaguar with matching headstock and matching bloch inlays. ohh and a binded neck((just makes it look better)). ;]

first off, how was that not censored? hahaha but agreed!

secondly, matching inlays? as in red? matching each other? im confuzzled.

Block inlays to match the color of the guitar body and headstock. I saw a picture of someones lake placid blue comp mustand with matching inlays and thought it looked pretty cool. ;]

id make it slightly tinted and subtle like "yea, im red." not "IM A BIG F^CK1N RED INLAY M^TH3RF^CK3R!" if done right, it could look pretty classy.

Hey Mango, you already have a duosonic and a new Jag, why don't you go for something different? SG or Flying V, you know it makes sense.

Me and my friend were talking about guitars with more than one neck the other day. I find more than one neck unnecessary...OR I could set a world record and have 10 necks!!! It'd be a circle body and ten guitar necks sticking out of it...like a sun...O.o XD

suppose so. ive always liked the idea of a double neck guitar with two regular necks, but basically two completely different guitars. what do you think? whatre your 2 favorite guitars

Jag, because it's just downright beautiful and I love the way mine sounds. The second favorite would have to be a Mustang~esque guitar((duo-sonic, musicmaster, bronco, etc.)).

if i ever get a twin neck itll be a jaguar and a jazz bass so half way through a song i can switch between bass and guitar

you could in theory combine the two guitars into one, i doubt its ever been done before?

maybe call it a muguar?

but i like the idea of making an updated jag stang. just use a jag body, maybe some tweaks if you feel like it, and mustang bridge and stuff...
