Good stuff, the re-issues are great for mods, rather than hack up a vintage mustang, that creamy white colour has a nice vintage vibe about it & the black pick guard suits perfect.
Although I must admit that my 65 sounded better when it had humbuckers installed, it had a CSL humbucker in the neck position & to be honest it sounded better than the Di Marzio super distortion that was in the bridge.
Wish I had never got rid of that pick up, it was nicked from a CSL white SG twin neck, that I thought looked fantastic, but the owner parted it - CSL were a Japanese company (I think) that made very good copies in the 70's ( showing my age now )any how their pick up's were amazing.
P.S. I have restored the 65 to almost its original condition, stopped gigging it due to large amounts of interest in it & it nearly got nicked !
