having technical knowledge to show is always a plus but i question its real value in the face of talent.
i must have some talent for it cause i can actually do it but in no great quantity,
i know the a minor pentatonic perfectly but i dont know what its for or how to use it and dont see a need to, if it sounds right to me then it basically is cause who else does it matter to?
i do keep spotting odd little things that i like to know though, like the fact that there is no space between E F and B C (which might have something to do with there being two gaps on either side of the 12th) and that the B string notes are one fret higher than the rest, and that a chord has to have both top and bottom notes the same, and that usually a string plays the same note as the string below it if the string below is fretted 6 frets higher (i use that technique all the time).
if you didnt understand that last one then fret A on 5th and play it with open D, its the same note, you can do it across all strings but i think b must be one higher.
