i couldnt choose between dimarzio and seymour duncan. two of my guitars have SD's(JB and hot rails) my other guitar has a dimarzio(super distortion). i like them all equally. and i think my robert OG custom is going to get a super distortion in it also. just cant choose

why not get a guitar with both? and have you tried lace sensors?

i only really use the bridge pick up, so theres no real purpose of me spending the money they cost for a neck. id rather use something i have or get something less expensive. ive never used lace sensors. ive used fenders, and there alright, i really like the jag stang neck pick up, its going in my robert OG custom

he made me a jagstang like body, has a more jag like lower horn instead of the mustang one. it has a duosonic/toronado bridge, a straight humbucker slanted neck single, mustang control plate, vintage bronco neck. will be reranch LPB with matching headstock. pearl PG.

Neck pick up will be fender JS Pick up, bridge will either be Dimarzio super distortion or SD JB.

I voted other. I'm a major advocate for Bare Knuckle pickups, they're incredible.

yea, but for a set itd cost more than half the guitar. lace sensors seem to be the best all around pickup, at least on paper. weak magnets, strong output, incredibly low noise, and as a humbucker they are real single coils, and you can get different coils.

Very true, that's why I want a gold/gold Dually for the neck of my SG. The Riff Raff in the bridge is just irreplacable though, just amazing. It cost me

nah id get a blue/gold neck. the gold is very stratty and belly, what eric clapton has in his strat. the blue is their second hottest pickup.

The Riff Raff's basically a PAF though, a blue/gold would be really mismatched with it, too powerful. In my experience as well the blue is way too jazzy and muddy a neck pickup. I like a lot of clarity in the neck, and the gold/gold mixes to give a nice vintage humbucker tone.

dp 100 super distortions sound great. what kind of guitar did yo uput it in, and i almost garrentee it was your amp/guitar/ ####ty thing you have that made it sound bad, not the pickup. tweak your EQ or check your wiring

I put them on my Jagstang and the sound was too heavy !
