My project

im currently working on a jag-stang project for myself, its a robOG body, 2 piece ash, just a normal jagstang..no mods or anything. i have everything for it except a shortscale neck and a humbucker pup and neck pup. So far i have stripped old paint off body, sanded it with 220 grit, then 320 grit, then i put wood filler on it. next ill put sand and sealer on it, let that dry overnight and then put primer and paint on. the color will be a surf green or seafoam green or whatever you wanna call it. enjoy....

ya like 20 times already but i keep being able to see the grain through the paint so im going to do it right this time..prep the wood good and everything. i cant wait to see how yours turns out nirvana23freak.

Me either. im going all out with the filler, sand and sealer primer and stuff too. i hope the metallic paint isnt too hard. matching LPB stocks look so good imo.

what color are you painting yours?

lake placid blue metallic. imagine if it was silver under the blue then when it chips it shows silver... that sounds cool to me.

thats really kool, i was gonna paint mine like that but i chose surf green cuz it kicks ass 😆 i seen a lake placid blue jagstang on ebay once..it had a matching headstock, black pups and everything like kurts 69' comp stang..it was great.

it went for like 1000 bucks, i think...its crazy how me, you and helsinkirules all have js project goin right now..i kinda want a left handed jagstang, for some reason i like them better than the right handed version 😆 i'd buy a lefty and pull a reverse hendrix

comp. orange kicks ass too, and man i dont care about the thread bein off topic, were talkin about some important #### here 😆 my dad will be pissed at me tomorrow cause i used his paypal without him knowing to order the two parts for my stang 😆 ill have fun gettin yelled at...
