I just had a bunch of strat parts so i bought the lefty body and warmoth sent me a b/w/b pg instead of w/b/w but i thought it was fine

I never even thought of that, not being able to get to higher frets, but I'm sure I would while I was playing it. My left handed friend is buying my Strat from me for 4 hundo, hope he doesn't mind that. I agree with Tool as well.

On youtube there's a vid of a guy playing Hendrix's improvisation at woodstock. right handed player, left handed strat (white, of course), held upside down. the lengths some people will go to to emulate thier heroes can be a bit transparent at times

anyone who says a guitar plays better upside down is lying. therefore theres no good reason to do it. the only one would be to get more harmonics on the bass strings with an angled pickup. in which case, have it routed.

You're missing the point man. Upside down guitar, strings reversed, nut reversed, etc, etc...It's just for the look, or left handed players having a very limited selection.

i understand why people do it its just a no good reason. i can understand a lefty doing it, but they make strats and teles lefty. only lesser known guitars make sense and only for a lefty.

Well it sounds great and the body was onnly $30, i did do it to have somthing unique. Im happy with it you dont have to be.

and i need all the help i can get when i play, and a lefty axe would make me sound even worse than i do now.

btw, $30 is an absolute bargain. maybe u could restore it, sell it, and buy a righty 😉

Well I'm pretty sure he built this guitar just for the looks of it 'cause it makes no sense to use a lefty body when you're right handed. I like guitars righty guitar with righty necks and viceversa.

However I've heard many times that a reverse headstock makes a difference sound wise but in my experience it does not, reversed pups may (or do? Never try it out) sound different but that's about it...
