the reverse headstock wouldnt make a difference, it would be the length of the string behind the nut. if i make a guitar itll problably have a reverse headstock or maybe ernie ball style. with a reverse headstock the higher tension strings have more slack behind the nut which makes sense.

kurt cobain fans seem to either have issue with giving credit where its due or just a lack of understanding about covers and quotes. that wasnt directed at anybody. Mango made me notice this.

note: since people will misinterperate this as anti-nirvana, note i said fans, not cobain. cobain himself was very well spoken.

I love Nirvana/Kurt Cobain, and I've never had that problem, but I know you mean the general obsessed Nirvana/Kurt Cobain fan.

i dont mean to insult every nirvana fan, its just something ive noticed. by the way just realized the problem is as bad if not worse with one of my favorite bands, muse. allot of people think that they wrote Feeling Good. and House of the Rising Sun.

well i dont think it has to do with the fans of the band, its the particular jackasses who are to ignorant to have any idea as to what they are talking about

The hero worship and "voice of a generation" bullsh*t that surrounds Cobain doesn't help either.

Cobain was clever at dropping pearls of wisdom like the disputed quote, and as has been said, it's just ignorant fans that just take it as face value that it's a Kurt original.

By the way, I am a Nirvana fan. Love the music, don't care about the rock star crap, despise the hero worship.

But I won't argue with anyone about it.

At least Cobain had the common sense to play lefty axes 😉 while wearing what looks like a cardigan made by his granny. A less self-concious person would be hard to find...
