'Cause of a number of financial issues I've run into involving not getting nearly enough work, university looming on the horizon etc etc etc, it's looking like I'm going to have to sell my Jag. I'll probably put it on ebay some time next week, but I thought I'd give you lot here a heads-up first.

For those who can't remember/ didn't pay attention/ didn't care, it's a CIJ model, not sure of the year, in Candy Apple Red with a matching headstock. It has had the following modifications made:

- Seymour Duncan Antiquity 1 Jaguar neck pickup

- Vintagevibe JG-90 bridge pickup w/ ceramic magnets (modified by myself to include the shielding claw)

- all electronics (apart from the switches and the roller pots) replaced with higher quality stuff, i.e. cloth-covered 22 gauge wire, CGE pots, Orange Drop caps

- all cavities fully shielded with copper foil

- buzzstop fitted

- Graphtech Stringsaver saddles on stock bridge

- modification made to tremolo to include AV arm (so it locks into place rather than floppnig about everywhere like the CIJ ones do)

- finish on neck has been sanded down slightly to satin

I think there's a photo of it in the "pictures of y'all's Jaguars" or whatever thread.

If you're going to make a serious offer PM me. I'm kind of pissed off that I have to do this 'cause I quite like the guitar, and I've put quite a lot of money into it. 😕

I could probably do busking thinking about it, there's a town a short bus trip away where the highstreet allow busking without a lisence. Could probably go on saturday's when it's busy...

Still probably won't make me all the money I need though, but it's a start.

It's essentially the same thing. Like a guy comes up to your car and washes it, when your parked at a light, even though you don't want him to touch your car with his dirty rag, you better give that bum a dollar. Except when "performing," you're not, well hopefully you're not annoying people, and they give you that money just because they enjoyed what you played. I guess what I'm trying to say is, it's a subtler way of pan-handling, you're not begging for it, because that's illegal, but you are out there trying to get some money from people walking by.

but i think a person who performs and asks for money is not nearly as bad as the person who just asks for money. theres also the question of whether they do it for the money or for the ability to perform. like the guy in the movie once. he wasnt a begger, was he?

But of course. That's why I said, it's essentially the same thing.

Anyway, how d'you expect a bum who probably has absolutely nothing to perform anything for cash? They probably need it more than the guy with the fancy Martin on the sidewalk with his fancy hard-case open anyway.

That's one of the most rediculous things I've ever heard.

First off, if my friend didn't live with his parents he definitely would have ended up being a bum. Take someone whose in debt, at a young age, because of school, and a car, lets say they don't live at home, their parents have #### credit, so their credit is also ruined, they get hired at a new job, pays well, and you get commission, 3 weeks later they tell you they can't afford you, so when you have all these other bills to pay + rent, and NO car because you accidentally filled the, I'm not sure what he filled, but he did it wrong and it screwed up the entire car, so you can't drive anywhere, and because of this you can't find a new job, you have no place to live because your last check can't go towards rent, I'd say those are all combination to create a bum. Not by choice. Now if he hadn't lived with his parents, I'm quite sure a friend, like me, would have taken him in, but if you're a loner, etc, etc, there are other parts to the formula, you get a bum, who has a reason. So don't have that narrow attitude about bums.

Sometimes people just have #### luck, and you should know that by now.

Like I said, lets say he doesn't have a place to stay, and no friends around the area, he's new to the area. Then, you're just #### on, how are you supposed to get a job when you don't have a place to shower or keep your clothes, so they don't get dirty? You could always go home, if you have a home to go back to, I get what you mean, but, in all honesty, some people's lives are just #### on.
