Yes basically. It eliminates any need for a 'buzzstop' along with everything else like string jumping, etc. The Jaguar bridge is a bad design and takes some setting up, but when you consider it was designed with Surf players in mind that would use heavy strings like 13's it explains it all.
A 'buzzstop' does increase sustain btw, so i imagine this increased angle will.
