Where the tailpieces that far back on the Jag HH's stock? Looks unoriginal.

I believe the hardware is original, it's just a refin.

Then the TOM might be stock, but the neck isn't or has be refin'd.

it's somewhere between a jaguar special and a normal jag.

he said he thought it might be original. it depends what you term "original" though. it's possible ikebe gakki custom shop did it. the same as how they mod standard sunburst japanese jaguars to be kurt jaguars

isnt is possible its a Special with swapped pups?

the specials pups are like that unde the chrome covers. but they are generally black.

anyway, the specials have matching headstock (although you wouldn't really have a blonde matching headstock), truss rod at headstock, flatter radius, different knobs etc. also, they don't really come in blonde.

but maybe this was an early jaguar special. and that's why it hasn't got the truss rod at heastock

it's probably ash though. so i don't think it is a refin. because any non transparent jaguar special would be alder.

i'm fairly convinced this guitar is original

this
jag would be great. Feel free to post the pictures in the gallery.

Yup, which just shows Fender Japan and the Japanese market for Fender both produces all sorts of variations domestically and orders special editions.

It doesn't suprise me at all. Yet I can't figure out how America is so stale in comparison, having a much bigger market and probably an equal number of obsessed guitar fans. I know the Japanese are serious enthusiast in whatever they fancy be it sneakers(trainers), records, or whatever.
