'I have a clip of me playing the Bugera here on Youtube on the Jaguar and Jag-Stang
My only other amplifier that I have right now is a Roland Street cube that I use just for dinkin' around at friend's houses and such. I bought that a couple months before the Bugera so I could teach some guitar lessons at the time to a friend, and go to other friend's houses and just #### around without needing a power plug. It's also my "power's out" amp as it runs off of 2 AA's.
As for my previous amps, I've owned a few, but I've played through a LOT of them...
What I've owned since 95'
Peavey Rage 158 (95-99)
Peavey Backstage 30 (97-00)
Epiphone SC-28 Stereo Chorus (98-05)
Peavey Basic 112 (01-05)
Line6 AX2 212 (06-08)
Amps I have used extensively (during my younger poor days)
- Fender Twin Reverb (1st school guitar concert, with a BOSS Hyper Metal distortion)
- Peavey Delta Blues (the amp I used in guitar class in high school in front of class)
- Peavey Audition 30 (An old 80's practice amp I used in class sometimes, was one of the better sounding amps I used)
- Peavey Bravo 112 (An 80's Tube combo, sounded really sweet, another class amp, I liked this one second to the Carvin below)
- Carvin X60A (2 Channel all Tube Combo, 12" Speaker, I LOVED this amp, my Jag-Stang sounded kickass through it on full gain, another class amp)
- Crate GX-15 (A Friend's practice amp, sounded okay for a practice amp, but not great)
- Peavey Special 130 (Amp I borrowed for live work in my last band, was loud as hell for a little 75 watt 12" speaker combo, but without effects or pedals, the channels were very flat and nasty sounding, took 2 digital effects boards to make it sound decent)
- Epiphone EP-80 (Little one channel practice amp with distortion, everybody I've known has had one of these except me, I don't really like em' as they sound like an SC-28 with bad speakers and without the chorus, reverb, and clean channel)
- Mesa Boogie Heartbreaker (this amp stayed in the Guitar Shoppe for a year and a half, in that time, I played my Jag-Stang on it a few times, and ran a 63' Fender Jaguar through it, this was my dream amplifier for the longest time but alas I could not afford it)
- Samamp Combo (A triple wattage custom botique amp the Guitar Shoppe was carrying before I moved north, made by a local amp technician. This was my dream amp till I got the Bugera, as it could sound like several different tube amps off REAL tubes. Played a 69' Reissue Mustang through it a few times for quite a bit...some of the best sounds I ever heard).
- Mesa Boogie Stiletto - (The backup halfstack where my band practices, sounds a little bit like the Bugera except a little more devoid of mids, and probably needs a retube and BIAS as it is still running on the original tubes)
