That guitar is when Jagstang Meets Danelectro. You have the extended top horn, and you've also got a cutaway on the bottom that is further in. The lipstick pickups and pickguard shape aswell as the matching headstock. Bravo.

Since building these two, we've trimmed the headstock down to a smaller size, and will continue to do so. Also, you may notice that we changed the knobs as well.

What about this 'stock design?

I really like your designs, but I have a few suggestions:

Have you tried giving it a German-carve? I think it would work really well. Also, a body (not arm) contour, for more comfortable playing... There might be one, I can't tell from the pics. My final suggestion is an orange one with yellow polka-dots. Or a graffiti yellow one with a pearloid pickguard 😛 ...

I like it (hence designing it)... It reminds me of an old Teisco I had. They were the weirdest damn guitars... Nice though...

A german carve is a small relief around the top edge of the body...

Thats what I pulled up on Google. I think it illustrates the principle well. I'm pretty sure Mosrite used them too.

Not sure Aug would get away with calling it "Graffiti Yellow" though. Fender probably have it TM'ed... 😉
