Well, as I said before, the lawyers screwed up the raffle, and the charity got screwed out of their $2000 Christmas money, 😠 so, the guitar will have to go straight to the charity for another event. I took the oppurtunity to remove the M&R Lawfirm logo, make a few adjustments and install a zero fret. I spent a couple of hours over at Future Music in Echo Park with Jack and Greg and discussed all the pros and cons regarding nuts. For these guys, the zero fret is *THE* best, and the micro-fret comes in a close 2nd. Anyway, for those of you who don't know, the zero-fret is nothing more than a larger size fret that goes where the nut would go, and the nut gets it's grooves filed all the way down to the fret board and acts solely as a string guide. Once I made the changes, it sounded so much better. The timber between the open E and barre chord F suddenly sounded so much better. Never again will I build another guitar with only a nut. Pic!

Like I said before, I really want to slim down the headstock, and will do so on the next build.
