unfortunately not, after a hell of alot of trying to convince my dad to order some wood, hes basically said that we have to start in the summer so that the house doesnt get filled with sawdust from all the cutting and routing, looks like im going to get some BYOC pedals soon though to keep the creative mind going 😛 (combined with too much art homework)

and a slight change of plan as i scored this neck from america

Probably going to be P-rails in neck and tele pup of some sort in bridge

custom headstock design aswell 😁

Made a rough P/guard template and drawn out a headstock shape

the idea is to have the headstock white (a la airline) with a trim the same colour as the body (a la starcaster)

Forgive the way this will sound, but that headstock seems a little limp... You need to do something original with it, give it a curve or something. Make it badass.

I was trying to make it look modern and retro at the same time, i quite like how it is so hopefully when i get some wood it will come out satisfactory, or better 😁

Curve it upward... On the bottom. So that it goes OPPOSITE the normal fender direction...

yup, the body shape is great!

i kind of agree about the headstock, maybe it should take up the body's design a little more (you could shape it in a similar way as the guitar's horns, more angled maybe?)

either way, i'm sure it'll look cool with a matching headstock.

Just realised the headstock looks kind of like a firebird mixed with a starcaster and a bad strat copy 😕

Its definately going to be orange, swaying towards 3-ply white for pickguard

P-rails neck and 1/4 pounder tele in bridge

Im really happy with how things are going, especially that all the body work has happened this afternoon

Ill have to wait till tuesday to do more routing as my dad's away tomorrow and he wont let me or my brother use the router 😢
