What I like most about that thread is that it opened my eyes to all kinds of possibilities, not just for the 51, but for modding other guitars too.
I especially like the ones that look like actual guitars you could buy at the store. The one posted by Cymastar is a good example. I dont so much like the ones where people go over the top.
But they really are great little guitars that seem to sound really good too, even in stock condition. But as you know, when I got mine it was butchered by someone that fancied themself a modder, but had a zero budget. I wish I had some 'before' pics of my 51...
