AGREED! This whole thing started for me when people around here started telling me that this neck wouldn't work on my duo cause its a conversion. When I pointed out the measurements were all correct they said it didn't matter causer its a conversion.
That lead me to do some non-internet research, so I read a few books & talked to a fender tech & they all said it should work. The techs point I think was that it doesn't matter what guitar the neck was made for if your changing bodies its measurements that matter.
I only even bring it back up cause I know there are people out there that want to do a stangish project for cheap & I think the MIM duo body/jagmaster 24" neck combo is a great "cheap" way to do that. I figure this will settle the doubt so I was willing to do the leg work.
