Well I've had a bit of a tinker and done the following;
Firstly I found out my old Tanglewood Strat copy tremelo bar, ran a die nut down it and threaded out another .250" or so and hacksawed of the original thread. then tapped out the clearence hole in the tube so i've got a decent tremelo system now.
Replaced the stock bucker with a Seymour Duncan JB and took out the tone pot and had a 3 way toggle switch installed. The rabbash switches are now dissconected and i've packed the screws out underneath with washers to lower them down.
Nothing major or spectacular i know but its a far more satisfiying guitar to play now and after following Mad Mikes set up thread the beast more or less stays in tune for an entire gig.
