The Jag-Stang showed up shortly after the shop moved before they sold the Bullet, I played the Jag-Stang the first day they had it and it blew the bullet out of the sonic water.
I find it funny that there's almost always a bullet around if there's an offset...
During the summer of 96' my primary guitar store got not one but TWO Jazzmasters in within a month of getting one of just about every Fender Bullet model ever made.
Then the other store somehow got one of those bullets, and the next week, a red Jazzmaster appears in the window.
The black bullet shows up at the main shop I went to at the time, within that month...a 64' Mustang, my Jag-Stang, 2 other stock Jag-Stangs, and another Jazzmaster, plus a Cort Jazzmaster copy, all appeared between 3 stores at that same time.
Tommy's near where I live gets in a Fender Bullet HH and Fender Bullet strat style (the 80's versions from Fender), and my Jaguar HH appeared in their store for sale, and the Mustang that had been under repair since the Bullets appeared was now for sale, my HH arrived and the Mustang left.
It seems Bullets are like an omen of more offsettage appearing, often buyable. All but one of those times I was planning to buy the Offset, only missing out on the first two due to lack of funds.
