Another grand plan

I was totally into transforming the 51 into a Cyclone, but it will require alot of money to be forked over in one hit. This way I can take my time, and still get a good result.

I just hope the music store still has my Cyclone on the wall.

Nah, just the wiring. but the single will stay. I just don't know what to do with the excess switch 😕

leave it un-wired, no big deal. i have my tone and volume bypassed on the stang but the pots are still there (sans knobs)

Update:

I recieved my (black) pickguard from Guitarfetish. It almost fits, just the screwholes are out of whack, and it extends a bit too far in the the neck pocket heel.

Also got my control plate. Damaged seconds, but looks damn near perfect.

Sadly my finances have taken a major hit in recent weeks, and due to illness (stomach flu) I have barely been able to work. So this project is on the backburner. On Monday I will be taking the guitar to the luthier to get looked at and we will hopefully hammer out some plans and I will be able to get a quote.

This project will happen, but it will take some time 😀
