that's not a fair example cos he could destroy any guitar with his legato playing and make even a toilet seat sound amazing 😆
plus i've never played one but i imagine the ORM would sound awful on most guitarists cos it would be too edgy and not enough tonal variation - it would require masterful expression to the point that you could strip the guitar of everthing and get all the tone from your fingers. for example my friend bought a schecter or some metally guitar with Dimebag humbuckers and he couldn't play it because the pickups were such high ouput that it was impossible to play without unwanted noise - he ended up trading it for soemthing else even though it was a well-made guitar and he is a good player. its good for dimebag himself but not for anyone short of a masterful player.
