dose anyone have a high res photo of a red JAGMASTER

well i more want to know is that just plain red? or is it like the red of comp stangs?

cos i think i am getting one 😲 i am just going to ruin it. 😈

i want to put jazzy PU's in it. how do i route it so it will fit?

Hmmm, i think that the Red Mustangs are Dakota Red. (a bit darker red)

And Jag-Stang's are Fiesta Red. (a bit lighter red)

But i don't know for sure because i never saw a red compstang in real life. 😡

And my camera is crap so i can't take a good high res pic of my JS.

jagmasters are usually swimming pool routed so you probably wouldn't need to do anything.

The pickguard is another story though.

See if Aug can knock up a template. I know he's supposedly busy, but thats a tiny job

Well, the new ones are 24" scale as opposed to the red ones 25.5", if that makes any difference. Other than that I haven't played them both so couldn't comment 😉

I just found this thread but I can contribute a bit...

This is a Vista that was for sale on ebay, and I just flogged the pics.

This is a Gen II jaggy that I was gonna buy about a year ago. I think it's also CAR, but hard to tell. I think it's just a poorer quality of CAR.

As for measurements, my jaggy is still off getting modded (will be done by next week, so I am told) so I can't help much there. but what I can do is post a couple of photo's which give some idea about fitting jazzy pickups.

I think I flogged these pics from this site. Taking a look at the neck pocket compared to the size of the jazzy pups give some indication. I am 90% sure routing would be needed.

Hope this helps, I can't post much in the way of measurements until I get my own back.

it would be close, i think your right i would need to do a bit. what do you think would be the best way to do it? just get some strong sand paper (cos it looks like it dose not need much).

i could get the red one, but another guy is selling a new sunburst one for only $200aus!!!

and the red one is about 350 😕

also, could i just file the pickguard? or should i cut it?

Just go for the cheaper one. I'm sure a file would work.

i dont think so, but i could find one, one of mr friends or friends dads must have one. but i dont want to #### it up 😕 are they hard to use?
