Where to buy a replacement pickguard for the Jaguar CP?

Does anybody know if the warmoth pickguards fits the Classic Player Jaguar? 😕

I finished mine yesterday, and the Fender vintage-style one fits great on the CP. Although I didn't have to, I routed out the area of the guard under the bridge (between the holes), using a Dremel. Careful, though, because at high enough speeds the Dremel can actually cause the melting pickguard material to catch fire. 😲

Good thing I was outside at the time. 😉

I got it. Where did you bought the Fender vintage-style pickguard?

I was thinking of warmoth pickguard but I don't know if this one will fit.

It's just the Fender Vintage '62 RI Jaguar pickguard, available at many stores here in the US, and there's probably some on Ebay as well.

I get most of my parts from http://www.darrenriley.com, who is one of the biggest parts dealers in the region, and who just happens to be local, so if I really need something quickly, I can just drive over there and get it the same day. He has just about any Fender part you might need (except for CP bridges 😉 ), and even keeps things like Jaguar/Jazzmaster pickups and such in stock at all times. He's a really nice guy and will even measure the pickups' output DC values for you right there in the store.

For people like me who like to work on/modify Fender guitars, the place is like Fender parts heaven.

Like the Darth here says, just get an AV one. The Warmoth one wouldn't do you much good 'cause they make them to fit strat pickups, not Jaguar pickups.

Ah right, my bad. The Warmoth one would probably be alright then actually. I think they might deliberately make some of the measurements a bit different to Fender ones though.

You could probably find a pickguard from one of the CIJ HH Jags somewhere, the hardtail model. That'd probably fit.

The problem is that I don't have enough money to spend in "probabilities"... 🙄

I need something specific that will fit for sure.

Well, the pickguard is slightly-used with some very light scratches (I got the guitar off the wall at a GC, where the dumbass insisted that it had never left the store, despite it missing the plastic on the pickguard, and it having some weird aftermarket strap buttons installed 🙄 ). Also, it is a very consistent brown tortoise color (i.e. no big yellow splotches anywhere).

Oh yeah, and I ganked the shielding off the back for my new guard. 😎

Now, I don't know what kind of humbuckers you have, but this pickguard already has holes for mounting the kind of humbuckers that came with the guitar (the pickups mounted directly to the guard). I have no idea if it would work with a Gibson-style humbucker (or something similar).

I need it routed for normal fender stratocaster humbuckers... not gibson's.

Where are you located? If you are in the US I could just send the pickguard to you, since I'm not going to need it. If nothing else you could trace it and then send the trace to one of those companies that will make it in any color you like.
