I guess you're right, they are pricey. I haven't ordered from them yet, but they come highly recommended by a friend of mine. I wanted to get red tortoiseshell, which I believe is also the highest price category. Decided to wait and see how much a luthier charges. However, I have found that a luthier (at least here in holland) charges the same, and doesn't have the same amount of material options

but the seller refused to ship to Brazil once I asked him to declare a lower value on customs form, to avoid the duties.

The brazilian foreign customs can't apply duties in orders under 50 bucks (including the freight). The pickguard is priced US$ 49.00, but it will exceed 50 dolars with the freigth.

That's sad.

Also looking into this, but for regular SS Classic Player. As far as I can see the regular ones won't fit the TOM bridge?

I noticed this thread. I have a classic player Jaguar with the humbucking pickups, and have recently got a hold of some single coil, vintage p/ups to replace them. If I get a scratchplate that fits a single coil Fender Jaguar, would this fit around the bridge area? I know the bridges differ, and I could alter this, but does anyone know whether the bridge would mount? I know the scratchplates on the classic players circle the entire bridge, while the standard Jag goes around the three prongs in the bridge, would it still fit?

Sorry to ask such a silly question, I'm relatively new to customising guitars etc, just hoped one of you guys could help!
