I was your basic hardcore kid once, I didn't need theory. I played mother fvcking root notes man!
Then I learned theory, and I realized that there was more to be played than roots and open notes.
Now, I'm still a hardcore kid, but since I know theory I can be hardcore AND a musical bad ass.
