Haha thanks, so this thread made me curious about weights between Fenders and Gibsons and I was not surprized by what I noticed
My Jimmy Page les paul unchambered and solid mahogany and maple weighs in around 9.5-9.8lbs
My KDC Fender Jaguar weighs in at around the exact same regions 9.5-9.8lbs
My Fender Mustang weights in at around 5-6lbs
My Gibson Les Paul studio which is Chambered weighs in at nearly the same 5.5-6.5lbs

So I have come to conclude that there isn't that much difference in weight between Gibson's and Fender's at least not the Gibson's or Fender's that I own. I think what makes some feel heavier is how they carry there weight. But honestly my Jaguar and Les Paul feel exactly the same the Jaguar at times actually feels heavier! But both carry there weight in the body really, I didn't weigh my SG because it carries alot of its weight in the neck so even if it does weigh less or more then a fender it feels lighter usually. So theres a little comparison with my guitars.
