I think the reason most people start playing guitar is because they hear something they like and it inspires them to do so. And it makes sense to want to emulate it.

yeah i know i'm not kurt my playing style is almost the same but i realize it will never be the exact same and over the last few months i've realized i cant be kurt kurt was kurt.sooo now i'm takeing my own identity into my musical desingn and writing songs and what not and most of the stuff i've written sounds more like sonic youth or black flag i'm tired of trying to be dez kurdtz so i'm just going to be myself and what not the tone i want is a mix of exempermintal,sonic youth gooera,grunge,metal mix.
