The contour makes things marginally more comfortable, non-contour bodys never bothered me to be honest though. I prefer a toggle switch, the only reason the sliders are there is because its a stock guard... they dont actually do anything. My other JS is the same.

Eventually i may wire up some phase stuff or onboard FX but to be honest im a fairly straight player that sticks on the bridge pup most of the time just adjusting my volume for cleans.

If i had all that extra stuff i'd hardly ever use it. A guitar like Matt Bellamy's would be wasted on me, i'm more of a Johnny Thunders guy.

The more I play contour guitars, the more I realized I really didn't need em either. The guitar looks cool finished with the contour, adds more sex appeal.

Are ya bringing any guitars to the states later this month with ya?

Its Ford Carnival Red. The closest match i could find.

I wont be bringing it to the US dude, i might take my chances on getting something over there and getting it through customs. Thinking of a Strat of some sorts, are there any decent second hand/pawn shops in Atlanta?

I will do an demo monday if i remember. Had my head up my arse lately selling loads of stuff, working, preparing for the US.

I live in the suburbs, 15 minutes from downtown. There's a pawn shop on every corner over here & 2 local guitar shops.

Atlanta has a Guitar Center, think they've got Sam Ash & Mars (somewhere)... and a vintage shop.
