I can't think of one germanium tone that I really like, whereas pretty much every fuzz sound I like is silicon.

I hate those pedals with tubes in. I'd be so scared of damaging it. When I buy a pedal, I want a big block/lump of metal/plastic/dried ####/whatever that won't break if I drop it.

Pretty much. Hopefully it'll sound better and it'll be successful. The big EHX things have gone down a storm on the whole, but the small pedals have sucked on the whole.

So, that Freeze thing is basically a pedal dedicated to the "Hold" function on a DD3. It had better be a LOT cheaper than a DD3.
