you obviously don't get it.

If you had only one switch, instead of two, then:

X-- would equal ON

-X- would equal OFF

--X would equal OUT OF PHASE

But, you don't...you have two switches, with 9 possible positions (one of which is OFF OFF)

X-- X-- and --X --X are the same, because they are both ON, but not out of phase with one another.

maybe if you saw a schematic of the Mustang's wiring, it would help...

I dont care that you call them in phase or out of phase, to me if it gives the out of phase sound, then its obviously OUT OF PHASE

I don't own a Jag-Stang anymore, but the one I did own was wired stock, so no it was not the same as yours.

since my guitar isnt wired stock...can someone please tell me how it is wired....(first --- is neck, second --- is bridge)
