mustang222 he probably change them back and foward the white is a dimarzio and the black is a jeff beck humbucker so it changed them for a sound differance
smallclone im pretty sure the white humbucker is a seymore duncan considering it says that right on the pickup itself. looks like whoever owns that guitar now strung it right handed at some point in time and put a strap holder on the opposite side to play it because its got a hole on the lower horn..... that sucks.
jonl I am curious as to how the hell the humbucker is held in place...there are no screws holding it to the pickguard.I wonder if its screwed right to the body
Silenus Another thing is the neck PU. Will it be another then the stock one? (due to the big difference in output between a SD JB and the stock)
Al(ex) Blogged now that the press release is official.http://www.jag-stang.com/2012/01/17/fender-introduces-kurt-cobain-mustang-guitar/
theunknown22 The Lake Placid Blue is priced the same as the others. That is really cool. Still undecided of what color I want. Never had a Sonic Blue and I love tort.

JamesJ The only that pisses me about this is, I just finshed building a Fiesta Red KC Mustang. I already have a Sonic Blue one that I built a few years ago. Released too soon after the Jag in my opinion. Still paying that one off! I'll look into getting one of the Sonic Blue ones if they aren't too crazy in price. All sources indicate that it will be right around a grand in the states.

Auto-Immune Its kind of stupid the compstang doesn't have a matching headstock..the feista red is really cool though
Silenus ^as you say.And it shouldn't had a humbucker but Seymour Duncan hotrails in it as Cobain's didand a little aging and more greenish-er...that's all I'd ask for.(Really wanting that Sonic one as I already have a modded "yellowish" '69)
