got a fender mustang/jagstang/cyclone case. b/c i dont trust gigbags when i play out. and i must say i am very disappointed in fender. i read some feedback on harmony central or somewhere that they really had to CRAM their jagstang into the case in order to fit it. but i had faith in fender...when the case arrived i was in utter disbelief, and just stood there perplexed, realizing that my jag-stang wouldnt fit in the case that was designed for it. so i had to cut back the plush lining and remove a piece of padding in order to fit it in there. and still, it just barely makes it. if i hadn't removed that padding, technically i could get the guitar in by putting the neck in first and then CRAMMING the body in...just like the feedback i read...and when you cram it in like that, it puts way too much pressure on the neck than i was comfortable with. i felt like i would have damaged the guitar over time by doing that. i just dont understand how they can market this case as a jagstang case when it clearly wasn't designed to fit the guitar without modification. and to top it off, the handle came broken (from musicians friend/guitar center) but i didnt notice it until after i removed the padding and reglued the plush lining. but thats a different subject...anyone else have this problem(jagstang not fitting in a JAGSTANG case)?? i love fender...but man, i am totally shocked and disappointed in them for this one.
