The Box of Cake is a Hotcake with a Bluesberry mod, essencially, but with a few tweaks. It has a boost section like a Box of Rock, yet more LPB like rather than SHO style. It also has a switch in the middle which makes the gain full blast, which dips into fuzz territory more than overdrive. It's my perfect overdrive pedal that i couldn't ask more from. If you have an idea for a pedal that you want to see happen, I highly suggest working with Mike.
As for the Pitch Black, its a great tuner that is visable in all lights [as far as i've seen] It can also power up to 200mA worth of pedals, which is a nice plus. True Bypass is nice aswell, for 10 dollars cheaper than a TU2 i don't see why there would be a second thought to NOT get the Korg.
