Yeah, well, their setups are
Drummer = double bass kit with a full mess of toms, cymbals, Sfx drums, literally a pro grade kid, and he owns THREE of em'.
Bass = 800 Watt Markbass solid state "hybrid" head, Orange 4X10 cabinet, Orange 1X15 Cabinet - Washburn active 5-string bass, Fender Jazz Bass, Active Steinberger 5-string fretless
Bass is usually on 3, but lately have had to turn up to 4-5ish probably because our drummer is really a powerhouse (and so's the kit apparently).
Before the full stack, I had the Bugera around 7-8 on the master and all the channels at 3-5
Now I run the channels at 2-3, and the master at around 5-6ish, and we can hear me really well, finally.
With the other project, I just use the Peavey cab on the Bugera, same pedals, same guitars.
In that band our drummer has a smaller but good sounding kit, the rhythm guitarist plays a Yamaha superstrat through a Fender FM112 2X12 combo, and the bassist plays an Ibanez Soundgear through a Hartke bass amp with 4 10" speakers. As you can guess, they are quite a bit quieter, I usually have the bugera at 3-5 on the master in that situation with just one cab, and sometimes even that's too loud.
