Absolutely agreed. I'm a lefty and have tried a 'hendrix' before having owned a righty strat. Realised that it's way too uncomfortable with the knobs jabbing at my forearms and not being able to reach the last few frets from the reversed cutaway (I've got small hands and short fingers). The reversed tremelo is refreshing though, albeit takes getting used to.
My first electric (I still have it) is a righty 90s Ibanez Artist and though it feels more comfortable with the double cutaway, there were instances when the knobs were accidentally meddled with during gigs. And my picking forearm usually ended up with slight bruises due to the non-contoured edge ☹
