i know it sounds hard to believe, but it did happen! the gig was Hole @ Brixton Academy, 1999, the girl was called Rachel, and i played it ONCE unamplified cos she brought it round to show it off one time.

yeh it kinda sounds like a fake story, but why the hell would i make something like that up???

its not like im desperate to impress anyone on here. jees.

I dunno, maybe it is true. Its just that we tend to get a lot of bull####ters on here who claimed to have gotten high with Kurt etc...

Well, since we're having a pi**ing contest,

Bret HitMan Hart gave me his glasses at ring side 'cause I made a huge poster of him puting The Mountie in a sharpshooter in Moncton New Brunswick back in '92. No BS. It's Da Truth. (I was like 14)

I met Scott Weiland walking down St. Catherine St. in Montreal the day the Stone Temple Pilots played the Forum with The Red Hot Chili Peppers on the Canadian leg of the Californication tour. No BS. It's Da Truth. (Very cool guy & he's f***ing short)

I jammed with Adam Beach (native movie star, currently starring in Clint Eastwood's "Flags Of Our Fathers" was also in "Meet Joe Dirt" & "Wind Talkers") at a party at his house when he lived here in Ottawa for a stint. No BS. It's Da Truth. (He's an awful drummer)

That's all I can remember right now......'shrooms. You know what I'm talking about.

I have no real claims to fame. I met Lars Frederiksen in a club in Liverpool (it was definately him coz I saw him play with the Bastards the next day), and I've met Max Boyce but most people here wouldn't know who he is. (he's a welsh folk singer/commedian who used to be really good but has kinda lost it in his old age, totally loved him when I was a kid).

i met maynard james keenan and i beat him up. he cried. he's a bit of a pussy.

but really, i've met Danny John-Jules (red dwarf, took a pic with him), Mike Einziger (incubus, behind the 'small stage' at a festival, was with someone who made a HUGE effort to talk to him), Flea (at airport security in Heathrow, he looked pissed when i made eye contact and i've heard he's a total jerk if you approach him during his personal time so i left him alone), and of course Neil Young, at the graduation ceremony of my high school the year after i graduated (he's friends with one of my friend's friend's fathers... he sold him lumber for his Half Moon Bay house).

back on topic:

look at this fender prototype: a starcaster-ish shaped thru-neck bass. pretty ugly.
