Whoops! Didn't read your post too closely, I guess. But they are some nice pics to look at.
p.s. Any particular reason for avoiding eBay?
Because:
1) With a brick and mortar store, or an online retailer such as Musicians Friend/etc, you are dealing with an established business that will ensure that any billing problems/returns are handled. With ebay, the quality of service tends to be more luck of the draw from what I have seen.
2) Online stores and shops are mostly located in the US, so there are no import taxes or even tax (if I buy online). Also, I know its a small concern, but there is probably a higher liklihood of something being lost/stolen/damaged coming from another country into the US, than just an inter-country shipment.
3) There is a much higher liklihood of being ripped off on ebay. Sure there were pictures in this case, but there arent always. You could also say "stick to sellers that have positive feedback", but again, they arent always available. Lastly, hinging on point #1, if you really werent satisfied with your item, how easy is it to return? I imagine that varies by seller, but it sounds like more of a headache than returning it to a store or online retailer even.
In summary, I have more peace of mind when buying from a name brand retailer than I do a third party.
