Well, being as I'm one of the metal crowd, here's ALL my guitars
L to R: Red homebrew Explorer, over-modded and beat to hell Kramer Focus 3000 (my first electric), Fender Jag-Stang with EMGs (the heaviest sounding out of all in the pictures), Fender Jaguar (best Van-Halen axe oddly enough), Squier 7-String (mostly used for 80's New Wave than Metal, when I'm trying to turn a synth driven song guitar driven).
L to R: Mutt Stratocaster (Blackmore, Hendrix, and Tele Emulation), B.C. Rich Warlock (secondary "Makeshift Les Paul"), Homebrew Natural Explorer (get's that peter green Fleetwood Mac sound from the cheap ass Kramer humbucker in the neck that was wound wrong at the factory), Flying Vee (A Floyd Rose guitar with NO locking nut, and yet it stays in tune fine, second heaviest sounding of the lot), Harmony Beginner's Electric (Literally Thurstonized, this is my Alternative/Noise Rock/Beater guitar).
L to R: B.C. Rich Ironbird Bass (my main P-Bass style bass), Segovia cheapie bass ($80, sort of a MusicMan/Kramer bass hybrid), Kramer Focus 3000 #2 (bone stock, used for Van-Halen), First Act "Kidz Guitar" (had a built in amp, I ripped it out for a secondary single coil, it's used for songs tuned up high like Van-Halen's Little Guitars).
Out of all these axes, besides the basses, the three I use the most are the Jaguar, Jag-Stang, and 7-String, for EVERY kind of music.
