Serial number was rubbed off when I got the guitar. It has a neck date as Jan 1996. Someone used a pen knife and scratched the lyrics to "The End" by The Doors into the finish on the back. I always thought as a tribute to Kurt. I replaced the bridge p/u with a Dimarsio that had been in many of my guitars thru the years... The stock bridge p/u was disappointing. I kept the stock neck p/u which is outstanding. I also reworked the guitar with better wire as original was thin and brittle also installed 500 pots and a vintage Fender tone cap from '60's. 2 ply Wt/blk pickguard and a custom bend on trem bar which was shortened from my jazz-master. Guitar kicks it! I also worked on a couple of Nirvana vids in the day and knew the band... So the guitar holds good memories of those Nirvana days...

Serial number on neckplate is N78264. (not a jag-stang serial)
