Bought it from a music store in july 97, in Lille (France).
Emailed Curtis Novak in 2009 who advised me to buy his Wide Range Humbucker (bridge) and Jaguar V pick up (neck). Not sure if it was a good choice but those are really good pick ups anyway.

Discovered lately that the humbucker poles weren't aligned with the strings - that was a massive problem ; Kurt probably wasn't giving a shit though... So my luthier finally changed the humbucker position before we even learned about the Cobain Mustang signature which has the same modification.

I finally had to replace the mustang like saddle and replaced it with a Mastery Bridge. It helped a lot !
I love this guitar, but I have to say this Jag Stang is still a bloody nightmare on stage : it weighs a ton, neck's too thin, and it's nearly impossible to tune. Especially the E (bass) string, even though I play on 11-52 strings (which allows drop D tuning).
